Add a phone as a camera
Any phone becomes a camera in about a minute. No app to install: scan a QR code and its video goes straight to your PC.
You need
A phone on the same Wi-Fi as the PC running Korte (not a guest network).
Korte and OBS open on the PC, and a show to add the phone to.
A charger and a way to hold the phone sideways: a small tripod or a clamp.
Add the phone
Make a QR code. In your show, click Phone by QR code, give the camera a name (say, "Drums phone") and click Make the QR code.
Scan it. Point the phone's camera app at the code and open the link. The camera page opens in the phone's browser.
Press Start camera and allow the camera. Turn the phone sideways and keep it plugged in.
Check it in Korte. The phone joins your show straight away, with its own box on the Cameras page. Korte looks at it to suggest what it shows: confirm or change it.
The phone's own screen shows a red frame when it's on air and a blue frame when it's next, so whoever holds it knows when to keep still.
Good to know
Phone cameras work on the same Wi-Fi for now.
Nothing is recorded on the phone: the video goes straight to your PC.
To pair a different phone, click Re-pair: a new code. The old phone stops sending.
