Handheld and operated cameras

A camera someone moves is marked handheld. Korte checks it for steadiness and never adds digital moves to it.

When Korte looks at the cameras, a camera that shows something different each time is marked as operated (handheld). You can also set it yourself in the camera's settings.

For a handheld camera, Korte:

  • checks it for steadiness and skips it while it's shaking or moving to a new shot;

  • re-reads what it shows, because the operator may point it somewhere new;

  • never adds digital push-ins or pans, because a handheld moves by itself.

During the show, if an operator is moving a camera, you can rest it for a minute from the Live page.
