Getting started

Install Korte and connect it to OBS

Run the installer, open Korte, and it finds OBS by itself. No settings or passwords to find.

  1. Run the installer. Double-click the Korte setup file and follow the steps. If OBS is open, the installer closes it. If OBS isn't installed, it offers to get it for you.

  2. Open Korte from the Start menu. The first time, it spends a few minutes getting its director ready (a download of a few GB). Keep the PC online and plugged in. This only happens once.

  3. Open OBS. Korte connects to OBS on this PC by itself, with no settings or passwords to find.

If Korte says OBS's connection for apps is off

Click Connect OBS (restarts it once). Korte switches on OBS's connection for apps and restarts OBS once, so finish anything you're doing in OBS first.

OBS on another PC, or your own password

On the Welcome screen, choose OBS on another PC, or your own password? and type the address, port and password. You'll find them in OBS under Tools, then WebSocket Server Settings, then Show Connect Info.
